Sparkler Send-off!

Stephanie, on January 26, 2018 at 7:35 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 12

My FH and I would love to do a sparkler send-off and we are having a difficult time finding the right kind of sparklers! The majority of weddings I've seen that have done this seem to have 12"+ sparklers, where in the world do you find ones that long? Anyone out there know where we can get these? Order online, I assume?

You can google wedding sparklers and longer ones should pop up. Make sure your venue allows this before you spend the money though.

We ordered ours from the Dream Wedding store. We Googled and that was the best deal I could find on the longer wedding type sparklers. We ordered a package... So it came with the sparklers, the tags, and a steel bucket to hold them Smiley smile

Okay thank you. I already spoke with the proprietor, there are stipulations to where it must be done, but it is allowed. Reception is in a barn built in the 1850s, so no open flame and must be at least 30 ft. from the barn. Flameless candles are being used in the barn, fire pit they provide is 30 ft from the barn, and the sparkler send off will take place there, too. Absolutely made sure of that before I even considered looking.

You can find wedding sparklers online. We used http://www.weddingsparklersdirect.com/ (I'm not sure why that website isn't working right now). We got the#20 size, 96 pieces, and it came to $48.97.

Make sure to use wedding sparklers and NOT regular fourth of July sparklers. Regular sparklers aren't safe for this type of thing, they burn much more quickly, and they have a lot more smoke (not good for photos).

Yeah, I can't seem to get the site to work, either. Even when I google it, it doesn't come up. It does come up as a "Vendor" on WeddingWire though. Strange! I'll try to look into it a little more because that's a good price, for what I've seen thus far. Thank you so much

I'm thinking of doing a sparkler send off as well! A friend who did it recommended the 36 inch ones since they would burn longer. Depending on how many will participate, you will need this since people will not be able to light them at the same time! She bought hers on this site: https://weddingdaysparklers.com/

Hmm, sorry Smiley sad Maybe they went out of business? So weird. Here is contact information listed in emails I have from them:

    *****@**********************.***

    Quantum Products, Inc.
    PO Box 480
    Round Hill, Virginia 20142
    United States
    (800) 849-2165

I live about 30 minutes from Round Hill, VA, I didn't realize they're based there Smiley xd

Regardless of where you get them, there are plenty of companies available online - just be sure to buy wedding sparklers (not regular ones)! Good luck Smiley smile

Thanks for this thread! I have saved these links to my planning docs since I am also planning on a sparkler exit. Great tips for getting ones that do not smoke!
