Spanx or no spanx

I don't know about you, but I find spanx so uncomfortable! I couldn't imagine being in them for 12 hours! My dress in A-Line, and I won't be wearing them. It sucks me in without needing extra help!

I love spanx, but you really have to err on the side of too large rather than too small or even what the size chart says. The point is to smooth things, not to take you down a size by forcing all your fat to migrate to other body parts.

I don't find spanx (and other brands) tooo uncomfortable, but I do find them HOT HOT HOT. I'm wearing bandalettes and a longline bra.

I love spanx! And when properly secured, they're far more comfortable than some of the alternatives (ahem, corset/girdle/anything with boning)

Personally I love my spanx and wore them to try my dress on. They have so many different types you just have to find the right one for you!

I'm literally giving my spanx a test-run under my work clothes right now lol. I'd suggest doing the same (well, maybe not necessarily at work haha but you get the idea) to know whether they will be comfortable for you or not. Definitely don't let the wedding be the first day you wear them, though!

Spanx are more comfortable than the cheaper brand you get at Walmart, target, etc. I have some that feel like they just dig into me in certain areas, and then I've had some where I forget I'm wearing them at all! (Until it's time to go pee!) if you're dress is already hard to get in/out of, take that into consideration!
