We got married in Spain (near Barcelona, not Granada), but honestly the situation is very similar.

Biggest thing I’d say: it’s not so much about which vendors, it’s about having the right planner on the ground. That’s what makes the difference between a smooth experience and a stressful one—especially if you’re planning from abroad.

We worked with Montse from Agape Weddings , and she was the person we ended up trusting for everything. Very straightforward, no pressure, and she really helped us understand what was worth it and what wasn’t. Without that, we would’ve definitely made worse choices just because you don’t know the local scene.

Even though we weren’t in Granada, she knew how to approach the whole process in Spain—venues, suppliers, timing, logistics—which is pretty similar across regions.

My honest advice would be: instead of trying to figure out all vendors yourself, find someone local you trust first, and build everything from there.

If you’re starting from zero, I’d at least look them up and see if it resonates with you.

Spain is amazing for weddings, but having the right guidance early on makes everything 10x easier.
