Spaghetti Strap Dress Alterations for Something Different

Allisonkatbb, on October 24, 2019 at 1:13 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5
The back of my dress is kind of driving me crazy. I’m just not a big spaghetti strap fan. I thought about having them crossed or something. Or making it a halter top instead. Has anybody purchased a spaghetti strap dress and changed it up? Please share pictures!

You will need to discuss this with a seamstress. The structure will change if the straps are changed which might not be possible depending on how the front is supported. A good seamstress would be able to tell you what can be changed, or not.

Hey there! Your dress is absolutely beautiful! The train is amazing!!!

    What is the front like?

As the pp mentioned, changing the straps entirely may change the look of your dress but your seamstress will absolutely be able to talk you through your options. Have you thought about thickening or widening the straps?

Would you ever add to them to make them bigger straps?
