Hey y’all! Where is everyone getting married?! I’ve been browsing venues for a bit now and I think I have a couple in mind but I want some more opinions on places around southern NH! Would prefer it’s not too far north. Want to stick to the Manchester/Nashua areas and surrounding areas. TIA💜🖤

Searles Castle - I checked the ca cellations and closures list on WMUR, listed as temporarily closed due to Covid. And not a surprise, as last 2 weeks Many places close to the Mass border had to close. Much of their business is from there, and they are high Covid at the moment. They are check, allowing only traffic going though but not stopping, home, or to ski areas. That may kill even people coming to tour. If you still have not found some place in a couple weeks, call on a Saturday or weekday. It is a nice place. Sorry

The castle was sold , had had months to a year of not selling due to finances of Sisters of Mercy who sold it. Then the new events management did major renovations, then in this year has opened up various parts of their retreat business, and special events. I did not know this, though I wondered when I used my long bookmarked link ant was transferred over to atthecastle.com, not their old website. We live further north now, but once lived in nearby Derry. I heard that they needed drastic measures to save the place in 2016, but never heard the end of the story. But their listing on WW is a new one. And my co-op lists them new in the booklet on consumers or foods, flowers, and other products for us agricultural folks. So of you are listing again, you might check. I know nothing about the new people. But the basic facility has been wonderful for many years.

I'm using Pats Peak because it is beautiful, included catering and is in great range of Concord and Manchester. I found it affordable for my Sunday wedding, using their bigger room for almost half the cost of a Saturday.
