Don`t know if this helps, the lighting is a bit off. It`s more of a gold-white colour. I think its beautiful and will be buying mine soon. Also, cost was $2,700

The two brides photographed in this Sottero & Midgley Amelie gown look absolutely stunning. This thread is a few months old, so tell us, did you end up purchasing this gown? If so, in what color? Also, if anyone is selling this gown in a size 6,8 or thereabouts, I would be interested to chat!

Did you have a slip on because when I tried it on, it wasn't as puffy. It was more weighed down.

Not sure if it's too late for you Jenna R I bought it in ivory but tried it on in 2 different stores in champagne. It's beautiful in champagne but I found that it photographs a little pink in different lighting and I didn't want to deal with that variability. See pics below.

Mine has just arrived, and I cannot walk, let alone dance in it! Frantically looking for a petticoat at my seamstress' suggestion. If anyone has successfully walked in this dress, I'll take tips please!

Alla, you look amazing in ivory Amelie!! I haven't started my bridal shop appointments yet, currently Amelie dress is my favorite contender. I am afraid it is a bit above my price range If you don't mind sharing, was there a difference in prices quoted at different stores that you checked? And also how easy was the altering process? And, are you thinking of selling your dress afterwards?
