sos guestbook

Rebecca, on May 13, 2019 at 12:18 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 12

So my mother was supposed to be on top of creating our guestbook.. I really wanted one in storytelling form. However it did not get done.

The wedding is this weekend and the soonest shutterfly can deliver anything I create is NEXT WEEK.

What do I do? What options do I have? What websites will work faster than shutterfly and let me create my guestbook?

You may have a hard time with this if you want a true book complete with binding, customization, etc. As far as I'm aware (and if anyone else knows differently, please correct me!) Shutterfly is the fastest method.

If you're willing to sacrifice the quality for the sake of speed, I would stop into the photo department of a Walgreens, Walmart, etc. and see what they offer. I know we have used Walgreens for last minute stuff, but it's definitely not as well put together as Shutterfly.

It may be best to come up with some backup options - for instance, we picked up an extra scrapbook with black pages and some metallic markers. We had some engagement photos printed up at the 1 hour photo lab and had planned to put those in there and have the guests sign that if our guestbook painting didn't end up being finished in time.

At this point you may not have an option to customize anything unless you pay for overnight shipping. I would recommend finding something on Amazon prime

What about a local print shop or someplace like Kinko’s?

    I made a storytelling book on lovebookonline.com

I know it was made shortly after I ordered it but I cannot remember how long it took then to ship it (but I got standard shipping)

Maybe try this?? It was super easy to use and super adorable! Great way to tell your love story Smiley heart

Update: I just looked at their website and if you order within the next 4 hours and get premium shipping it will be delivered by Friday, May 17th.

You could just buy a large photo mat to have guests sign. Then you can frame one of your wedding photos with that mat. That's what I was going to do before I decided on a custom guestboard in the shape of Georgia.

You could buy a photo album that has places for writing or a scrapbook and the add the customization and pictures latter. You just might have to have a guest book attendant so that people sign in the write places and know what to do. I’m just having a regular old guest book

You could also have a canvas printed at Walgreens of one of your enegagment photos and have people sign that? I think those are really cute.

You may be able to do a rush order on Etsy if you pick a seller in your country/state and pay extra for it. I would find something you like then send the seller a message.

You could always buy a scrapbook and have people write messages within it and leave pictures.

Get a frame and really nice paper stock, have everyone sign and go a less traditional way of a poster instead. Write your names and date in the middle.
If you really want a book you'll probably have to find a stationary store and sacrifice any customization. Good luck.
