Sooo... how did you guys meet?

High school 7th period 2006. I denied him until May 2007 when I finally decided to be nice and go out to eat with him for his bday. Here nearly we are 9.5 years later

FH and I met while working at a grocery store. I was still a senior in high school and I was with my ex, so other than thinking he was kind of cute, there were no feelings at first. The relationship I had with my ex was going downhill and he didn't want to spend time with me. I ended up hanging out with FH more than my ex! Then the ex and I broke up. After a couple months, I realized just how much I liked hanging out with FH and he asked me to be his girlfriend. He proposed 9 years later on the beach in Cali at sunset. We'll be married on our 10 year anniversary

We met on Tinder! However, we never ever hooked up during the process. I was saving myself for marriage as was he. I knew there was something special about him and I was so right.

We met on Facebook in a vegan singles group. We started off as acquaintances then went to friends and fell in love. When we actually started talking to each other we realized we had this connection that neither one of us ever had before or felt. We became official one month before we actually met in person and we already knew. We were planning the rest of our lives together before we met.

I was at a high school dance when my best friend ran toward me saying "you need to help them, you need to fix this. You're the peace maker!" I had no idea who she was talking about. Come to find out it was my FH and his ex. I went outside to talk to an angry guy, who I have never met. We talked and I listened to his story. After some time I saw a puddle near the school. Now I have this funny thing about how jumping into puddles always makes one feel better (it has always worked for me and my friends). Well we jumped in together and laughed. From then on we were best friends. Five years later we were both single and ended up hitting it off. Six years after that we are engaged! So for me jumping in puddles really do make things better!

We met online. I first met him in person at his work one Saturday, he wanted me to stop by. That night we had a late night date at Denny's. It took me a couple weeks to see that we had a real connection but I'm glad I stuck around!

We met online, plenty of fish it's called we went out to dinner and a movie. 4.5 years later we are engaged. Lots of ups and some downs and I wouldn't have it any other way

Highschool! I actually did not like him and our bestfriends had us hanging out amongst each other every weekend due to their parties and pretty much got us together. (Long story short)

College frat party hookup. One night stand, that kept happening until I stopped going to those parties. He tracked me down and finally admitted he wanted something more.

We met at the elementary school where I teach now (actually my current classroom). I was student teaching and he was a paraprofessional. Funny story, my sister used to date his friend. He asked my sister if she had any sisters and she told him yes, but I don't think you're her type. He wanted her to introduce us but she never did. I knew nothing about this until after FH and I met a year later!

We initially met at the physical therapy clinic where he was a patient. We didn't really connect until 2 years later when he started asking my pastor at church about me. We went out on the first date around july and we both knew this was unlike any of our past relationships. In October, he went on a mission trip to India and my pastor told him that if he was him, he'd marry me. Needless to say he proposed to me in February.

DH and I met through a mutual friend. We knew instantly that we were going to spend the rest of our lives together. We were dating for almost 4 months before he asked me to marry him.

We met online. First date was Applebees. Officially became a couple on my birthday. 3 years later he proposed on my Birthday!

We met through a mutual friend.....I had lived in Central America for almost three years with my now ex who became abusive mentally and physically. I came back home to NYC pretty broken fell into a depression and was filled with anxiety my best friend whom I'd known for 20 years told me about 2 months later that she had a guy she wanted me to meet and that I would love him, she actually said "he's weird you'll love him!" She was right lol! But at the time she showed me him I wasnt interested.. but I wasnt interested in much of anything. My mother practically shoved me out the door when they just showed up at my house. We played pool , had some drinks. My friend ditched us and that was okay with me. Found out that he too had lived abroad but in China and hadn't had the greatest last few years and we just talked all night and completely hit it off! Since day one he's been my best friend we do everything together! It's been almost 3 years now and I always say that he brought me back to life.

Side note our mutual friend who introduced us- we've always said we'd be each other's MOH ... she started putting me down after FH and I were official and trying to make me look bad, he noticed as well. Then she asked FH "if I was naked here in front of you would you have sex with me" he said no... (her bf was FH best friend) and neither of us have spoken to her since... shame.
