Son/mother In Law Dance Songs???

My fiancé does not have a relationship with his mother anymore and his father passed away when he was 2, so he will not have any parents at our wedding. When I told him that the groom typically dances with his mom, he quickly replied that he would just dance with my mom instead. They have a great relationship and I’m so happy he wants to have her in this special moment.

Does anyone have any song suggestions for this kind of dance? Since it isn’t a traditional Mother/Son dance, we are looking for something that fits the moment better. Thanks in advance!

Oh boy lol

I guess just run a google search and click the links to listen to bits of songs. I would do it with him so he can hear, too. He may like the vibe of some of the rock songs.

I understand this.
My fiancé doesn’t have the best relationship with his mom and every time I bring up the possibility of a mother son dance, his response is “Maybe? If she even comes”

And know that it isn’t necessary to have the parent dances. I’ve been to a few weddings where the groom didn’t dance with his mom for very similar reasons.

My fiancé's mother passed away when he was kid. He also said he will dance with my mom for the mother/son dance and plans to choose a song by one of her favorite artists. Maybe your FH can do the same? Does your mom have a favorite song or artist?
