Songs?

I’m struggling with this, too. I’ve been looking for a song that just hits right. Here are a couple of my contenders:

I have a little bit to decide..

I would choose something that is near and dear to you and your fiancé’s heart.


I chose a love song that was featured in a movie that we watched together on our first date. The song had significance to us throughout us dating. I had a guitarist do a instrumental version of it for the ceremony.

I recommend an instrumental song. You don't really know how fast you'll be walking on your wedding day, and a lyrical song could sit weird if you make it to the front before the chorus, or 10 seconds into the first verse depending on how long your aisle is. It's worth looking into piano versions of your favorite songs, too. Or try to envision your venue and how long it'll take to walk down the aisle and start your song to be better timed with that length.


For me, I love the show Anne With An E on Netflix. I walked to the song Goodnight Anne, which worked because I had a short aisle and the song fades into crickets and other nighttime sounds relatively quickly, but it was timed perfectly on my day.

I'm still figuring mine out but so far considering the river flows in you by yiruma, the opening theme to Bridgerton, and an instrumental version of rewrite the stars.. a little all over the place still.

I pretty much chose a R&B song to walk down. And my groom is choose his for him and his groom. It doesn't have to be a wedding song just think of a song that just basically tell how you are feeling about him and him for a song that fits closeset to how he feel about you.
