My wedding time frame was about that long too but I had a DJ so I'm not sure overall how many songs he played but if you make a playlist and it'll show you how much time overall those songs are. Also be mindful if you have any speeches then that takes time away from needing music played

Well, think of it this way. That's 5 hours of time. An average DJ plays somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 songs per hour. For a 5 hour party that's 100 songs. But to be on the safe side, I'd have an extra hour prepared, just in case. So that's 120 songs to have prepared.

This is one of many reasons why we had a DJ! Trying to pick 120 songs that we like, that would please our guests AND keep the party going without feeling disjointed? That's way more work than we would have been willing to do! (Plus he was a great emcee, so that helped the flow of events)

You should be able to create a playlist on your phone and see how long the duration of the playlist is!

I plan on just adding most of our favorite songs then playing what we can. I'd rather not get through all of them than have to restart.

I will have a list of MUST PLAY songs but apart from that I'm good.
