Songs with the lyrics or Instrumental?

I haven't gotten married yet, so I can't speak from experience, but I personally plan on using the instrumental version of whatever song I choose. I actually was thinking of "Can't Help Falling In Love" myself...I love that song! I was just at a wedding a few weeks ago and they used the lyric version of her entrance song, so I don't think it would be weird at all.

I used the song with lyrics for my walk. For my processional I used instrumental version.

I'm using Can't Help Falling in Love covered by Hailey Reinhardt, with lyrics. Her voice is so soulful in it, and the lyrics, of course, are timeless & beautiful. I couldn't see not having the lyrics during my own walk, because they're so integral to the reason I chose the song in the first place, but I don't know how I'm going to hold myself together! Lol. Tears will flow.

I think it's a personal choice, but I don't see having the original song with vocals being weird at all.

I did songs that were instrumental so people would still pay attention to the people walk down the aisle instead of the words to the music. Especially for my song because I wanted people to pay more attention to me than the words!

I’m planning on using the instrumental for both song in my ceremony! For the wedding party, they’re walking down to Take On Me and I am walking down to Intertwined by Dodie.

We are doing instrumental.

I will actually be walking down the aisle to Can't Help Falling in Love and will be using a violin cover. My bridal party will be walking down to A Thousand Years which is a cello and violin cover.

I am doing a regular song but instramental version and then having the chorus play the normal song when we walk back together after "I do's"

I'm using an instrumental classic song, Clair de Lune, but that's a surprise for my FH.

Oh thats a good idea!! like instrumental walking down and lyrics walking out?

We were thinking of a guitar cover of Queen's Love of my Life for the bridal party and then Can't Help Falling in Love for me and then doing the A*Teens version of the song walking out because it's fun, upbeat, and they used it in Lilo and Stitch.
