Songs during lunch

We are having a lunch-time wedding. We do not have a DJ but are using the sound system the venue has. How much time should be allotted for songs during eating? I have about an hour planned but am thinking that might be too long.

That would really depend on the size of the event, the type of lunch you're serving (plated vs buffet), the number of courses planned, whether or not there will be speeches. It's kind of hard to say with the information we have.
