Song Suggestions for “first Family Dance”

Shelby, on October 26, 2020 at 9:55 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 5
I am looking for suggestions for good songs for my fiancé, myself, and our (would be 1 year old) son to dance to together. The idea is that it would be a special dance for the three of us to do, similar to the first dance, father daughter, etc. thanks in advance!

My husband and his fam did “Love Shack”. It’s the song they used to dance to in their living room when he and his sister were younger. After the mother-son dance, the DJ transitioned to “Love Shack” where he invited husband’s dad and sister to join him and his mom. Then after awhile, they invited me and my family to join, then soon after the rest of our guests. It basically was the kickoff to the open dance floor.

Hi Shelby! Are there any fun songs that always make your son dance at home? I think something upbeat and fun you all rock out to together would be fun! Smiley heart

Also all of the Lean On Me / Stand By Me / I'll Be There style songs work well!
