Song suggestions for a soloist during the ceremony?

I need some help coming up with a song for my cousin to sing during our ceremony. We are having a Catholic Ceremony but no Mass, so the song does not have to necesarily be a religious song, we just have to have it approved by the music coordinator.

I love "Making Plans" by Miranda Lambert, but I'm not completely sold on it.

How many of you are having a soloist during your ceremony? What song did you choose?

    Check out "For You". It's a beautiful song, pretty sentimental if you like that sort of style. You can find a video of John Denver singing it on YouTube.

    I also like "The Lord's Prayer" for a religious ceremony. Multiple versions of that on YouTube as well.

    I want a slow song for sure, something romantic, something that relates to our relationship in some sort of way, its hard to explain!

    I absolutely looove this song and wanted to have the instrumental to walk down the aisle to but FH's best friend had this as the song for his wife to walk down the aisle... but someone was actually singing it and it was realllly good...I didnt want to have the same song so i changed this song to my last song of the night at the reception.
