Song Request in Invitations

Happy Friday!! My wedding is in March 2021 too!! We were thinking of incorporating a song request on our invitations as well. I’m thinking that we’d add it on the save the dates under the section we’d have the entree selections. I’m not exactly sure of our wording just yet since it’s still early. But it’s a great way to ensure that the dance floor will be filled at all times ! Happy planning 😁😁😁🥳

We included it on ours, but most people left it blank.

I wanted to because I loved the idea of having a cassette on the RSVP card to fill out... then I decided I'd rather have cheap RSVP postcards and ordered something generic from Amazon.

We're going to! I found this really cute song request card on etsy. They look like little cassette players! I was able to personalize them with our names and wedding date! I'm going to put them with our invitations/ RSVPs, and I also put on the RSVPs to send back the song request card with the RSVP if they would like to request a song!

I've never filled that out on an invitation when i have the option. Nothing wrong with including it if you want though.

We included it in ours and had about a 50/50 turn out. We had a smaller wedding 80ish people, but I felt like half was a great turnout and it gave us an idea of what our crowd wanted. We used "I promise to dance if you play...."
