Eta: that's a surprise for my FH though. I doubt he will notice in the moment but I will! I think I choose you would be pretty. I like using songs that mean something vs. the traditional choices.

There was not a single traditional song in our ceremony. I walked down to Hey, Soul Sister by Train. Even my grandmother didn't mind. Ha!

@ JaKLyn, pretty jealous of the Jurassic Park Theme.

We are doing the Forrest Gump Suite, the feather some from the movie.

Maybe compromise with a combination? our bridal party processional music and the recessional music will be classical/traditional...Wedding March, etc. However I will be walking down the aisle to a non-traditional song that my FH and I both love. I've found we have planned alot of our day that way...a combo of traditional and non-traditional elements.

We'll be walking to an instrumental of "Somebody" by Depeche Mode. I want to exit to "Scribble" by Underworld.

We are playing "Home" covered by the Piano Guys, so it's instrumental of the Phillip Phillips song. I think maybe if you find an instrumental version of the song you want, it might play to your FH's desire for more traditional, without scrapping the whole idea?
