Hi all, I need two father / daughter songs. One for dad (he picked My Wish - Rascal Flatts). For my step-dad's song, I was thinking I Hope You Dance - Lee Ann Wolmack. Thoughts...? It's a female singer, can it still be a good choice for a father/ daughter dance? I want two songs that are comparable in message.. Thanks!!!

We had our parents pick what they wanted to dance to with us. FHs mom picked I hope you Dance and my dad picked Don't Worry Be Happy.

I think I Hope You Dance is a really pretty song, and as long as you both like it, I wouldn't let the fact that it's sung by a woman discourage you!
