Fh wants to have a dance with his stepmom, but we are at a loss for the song. He wants to surprise her, so he can't ask her for her opinion. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I love "he didn't have to be" but its more for a Daughter/Step dad song.

Or You've got a friend by James Taylor and Carol King. Or my Wish by rascal flats.

They have a really good relationship. She's only been around since he was about 20 (13 years) but they've been closer than him and his mother for quite a while.
