Something blue?

I have my old, new and borrowed.... but am at a loss for the blue. What are you all using?

I liked that idea too but my dress is too sheer and it may show through

Ah okay. Maybe you can do a blue hair accessory or a necklace or earrings that has blue in it?

Personally, I almost always have a darker nail polish (deep purples, reds, blues, etc.) and chose to do a royal-navy blue "cat eye" style manicure for the big day as well as blue toenail polish. If dark fingernails are something you're totally not into, the toes may still be okay? I also had blue panties as I didn't wear a garter but if your dress is too sheer this may also be a no-go.

Other things you could consider are: jewelry with some blue (double points if it's your "borrowed" from a family member!), a blue hairpiece/beret, a blue handkerchief to tuck away for the ceremony, blue ribbon wrapped around your bouquet, or a small blue trim around the bottom of your veil.

    Good luck Smiley smile

I used blue stud earrings! my sister let me borrow her sapphire ring and her sapphire earrings as well.

you could do a garter or maybe a small hair piece.. blue polish on your toes?

I love the idea of blue toe nails! I’ll be wearing barefoot sandals for the ceremony so that would be perfect!

My shoes are my something blue. I love blue and it's one of my wedding colors so I knew from the beginning I would have blue shoes.

Blue was one of our colors so I had a lot of blue! I had blue hydrangeas in my bouquet, my nails were blue, and one of the flowers on my garter was blue. Oh, and some of my hair was blue. Lol.

I'll either put a small, blue ribbon around my bouquet or have some blue on my garter.

My dad gave me a blue sapphire ring for my 12th birthday. He passed when I was 14 and the ring is one of the only things I have to remember him by. It doesn't fit anymore because I'm a grown woman, but I will wear it on my pinky finger as my "something blue" so that he is close to me.
