Something Blue?

It can be anything: lingerie, jewelry, veil, gown, nails or other makeup, fabric sewn into your dress, ribbon for your bouquet, shoes, etc

I am doing my jewelry blue! My mom and my birth stone is a sapphire, and throughout the years it's been our thing to share and buy each other sapphire jewelry, so we have a bunch of it. So I figured I'd do sapphire jewelry and it covers my something borrowed, something blue and something old. So maybe you could incorporate a blue piece of jewelry somewhere?

If not, you could always add something blue to your hair, like a hair piece that has blue in it or a pin with blue. If those don't work, I've heard of some girls who will get blue on their nails for their something blue or sew in a patch of blue from a family member into their dress. I know you said no shoes, but if you're planning on adding any of those stickers that go on the bottom of your shoes, you could order those in blue as well.

If one of your wedding colors is blue, that could be your something blue! Otherwise, the above suggestions are all great! Jewelry, sew a patch of blue fabric into your dress, a bouquet wrap that's blue, etc.

Jewelry is a great way to incorporate blue! I've also seen a lot of brides do the ribbon around their bouquet like Caytlyn suggested! You could even have one of your nails painted a really soft baby blue color, or even have your ring finger painted that color and the rest be a normal manicure!

I’m doing jewelry, it’s a great idea! I have a blue topaz birthstone ring I received for my first communion in 2nd grade, and I’m going to resize it and wear it on my right ring finger! If it wasn’t that, I would of maybe worn a blue clip for my hair.

Bridal shops will sew or embroider some blue on the inside of your dress if you request it, like your name and wedding date in blue thread, or a blue heart. We're getting sapphires in our wedding bands so that will be our something blue.

I painted my toenails blue and a blue vinyl sticker made that said “I do”.

Like others I am doing a jewelry piece. One of my aunts passed away kinda unexpectedly the day after we got engaged and I didn't get to share my joy and excitement with her. She had a lot of rings so I am going to wear one of her blue rings. I won't even lie I am kinda emotional over it all. It's become very important to me too wear one of her rings.

My birthstone is sapphire so I wore sapphire jewelry.
