Someone hacked our wedding registry!

It's hilarious, but totally sucks. I'd have your moh or your mom call around and ask. Bc honestly, that person is going to feel even more awkward than you, buying a baby gift for someone who ain't pregnant....I know I would be pissed, whether I was giver or reciever lol

It likely wasn't hacked, more likely store clerk gave the scanner for the wrong registry.

Yeah I don't think you'll actually receive a baby gift. They probably just messed up the scanners

Was your registry through Target by chance? They have been having a lot of issues with their registries. So something may have just gone wrong!

Melissa, FH works at Target, handles the registries, and we are registered there. He has mentioned no problems with registries. It's more likely the person behind the desk scanned the wrong barcode and the poor pregnant woman registered all her stuff on OPs registry without even knowing it. Now all OPs relatives are gonna think she's preggers

Yes we're registered at Target. Ugh, this whole bridal shower is a nightmare. Just last week we had to change the shower location because the original venue had to cancel because of water line break. Naturally they let us know two days after the invites had already gone out so we had to send out letters about the new venue. And now this. Wonderful. I'm just impressing my new family left and right :-/

Can you approach target with their mistake, tell them how upset you are about their mixup, and see what they can do to fix it? There might be a further discount there to make up for it.
