Hi everyone! I’m Sarah! My fiancé purposed on August 28th, 2019. We were on a cruise with a few of our best friends and they all kept the secret from me really well! Lol we will be getting married on March 27th of 2021, which is our original anniversary date of us dating. We’ve been together for 8 years now, this March (2020). This ring is very special to me in so many ways. For one (the obvious), my future husband purposed to me with it. Second, it was my moms engagement ring. But most important part about it all is that my dad got it for my mom for their 25th anniversary a few years back and it’s gorgeous. My dad just past away a little over a year ago and having this ring makes it a little more special than most and makes me closer to him in a way. My dad loved my fiancé like a son and I know he’d be so happy and proud of the man I’m going to marry. Not to make this a sad post or anything but my brother also past away two years before my dad did so to anyone in a similar situation I’d love to hear how you did or are going to incorporate passed on loved ones into your wedding. It’s such a special day but without them being there physically, is a hard thing and I want them to be as much apart of it as they would be if they were here!
