Soloist question

Krishna, on July 8, 2019 at 2:36 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 6
So I didn't want anyone singing at my ceremony but somehow my dad and the best man will each be doing a solo. My dad will be singing The Lord's Prayer and the best man will be singing a Brian McKnight song. Each song is about 3 minutes each. Where in the world should I put these two solos? Help!!

If you don't want singing, politely inform them of that... it is your wedding, not theirs.

Cutting the solos aren't an option at this point...

You could have one song sang while your bridal party walks in and maybe the other one while they walk out

I would have one after the officiant’s speech and the other one after the rings and vows

Yes!!! I like this idea because otherwise listening to singers during a ceremony can be awkward for guests. Go with Amanda’s suggestion.

Is it possible for them to do the solos before the ceremony begins? As in before the Mothers Processional?
