According to BBC News, the number of self marriages has been rising! Supporters of the practice argue that it's a form of self-love that affirms one's own value.

What are your thoughts on sologamy aka self-marriage? Would you marry yourself? Why or why not?

    I saw this on TV once and it tickled me. If someone wants to do it why not. I wouldn't do it because I think it would be silly and waste my resources but hey if someone else wants to foot the bill why not.

    I've also seen examples of this on TV. In one example, a woman decided to marry herself because she hadn't found a spouse by the age of 40. So in her case would marrying herself be showing self-love of settling?
