As for solid pink ties for the groomsmen, there is nothing wrong with them. However, matching pinks can be difficult, and a pink that doesn't match his tie would look odd. Unless you can find ones that are the same color as the pink in his tie, you might want to consider navy instead.

I love this idea!

I love the idea of making him stand out. We are putting my FH in a suit with a vest and the rest of the guys with no vest so he looks a little different (isn't much but it's something).

I love the tie also, if I were you I'd go to Macy's in person and buy the tie, then you can compare the pinks to find the right shade for your guys. If your renting theirs then make sure you have your FH's tie in hand so the colors match up. I really don't think you'll have issues finding the right color though to match. Definitely make sure the plaid and plain ties match your BM dresses though.
