Solawood flowers

Has anyone used sola wood flowers for their bouquets? How did you like them? Were they hard to work with? Did you dye them or paint them? Any feed back is much appreciated

I was going to! I'm going with lings moment flowers. Just got my samples and love them - they'll be better in case of any rain, too.

    But, solas are pretty.

A wedding I was in had all sola wood flowers. We thinned out the paint to dip the flowers that we wanted to dye. That was pretty easy. And putting the bouquet together was fairly easy as well. We watched some YouTube videos to help.

I did sola flowers!! I hand painted some of mine, and dipped some of them. They turned out really good! We ordered holders off Amazon, wrapped them in ribbon, and got a few fillers from hobby lobby and put them together.

I used sola. I didn't dye them or assemble them I ordered them already done. I found a great deal so it ended up being cheaper to order them this way. I loved my flowers and I still have my bouquet and my husbands boutonnière on display in our home. Everyone loved the look of them and they photographed well too.

I bought the assortment packs from solawoodflowers.com and I shopped around. They do daily deals so I bought a few of those and then they did a big 4th of July sale so I bought some then. Stay on top of their website they always offer good deals.

The hardest part was figuring out my fillers honestly. The placement and what type I wanted and how many I needed. But other than that it was super easy. I have had so much fun doing all my flowers. Its quite cathartic actually.

I ordered mine off etsy! Haven't had my wedding yet so not sure how they hold up, but I have dyed some on my own. I've made some of my own, and you can dye them with mixing some acrylic paint with water and then submerging the flower. Overall I really like them and its a nice keepsake for your wedding party since they can keep them
