Did anyone do a diy sola wood flower bouquet? Was it hard? Any tips or tricks?

I am going to have a bouquet of sweetgrass roses with some waxflower and lemon leaf filler put in day of. To phrase it the fancy way: we are having a local artisan custom make the roses using traditional geechie methods. Or: we're gonna pay one of the guys on the street to make us a whole bunch.

I didn't make mine but I got it from Southern Bloom Co. and they did an awesome job for a very good price.

I made mine and 2 kissing balls for bridesmaids. I would say it is a little challenging if you are not crafty/artsy, but not too hard. It may take more than one try. This one is my second attempt and I love it. Search for videos on YouTube, there are several! Also check Sola Wood Flowers on Facebook, I think Meghan (company owner) has posted a few on there. She is very talented with putting them together! Best wishes

Seconding Southern Blooms Co. Haven't received mine yet, but I've been extremely pleased with their pricing and customer service. She's making everything custom for me and has been great about including everything I've asked for so far!

Southern Bloom Co. is an actual website. I paid less than $400 for 1-bride bouquet, 5-bridesmaid bouquets, 1-flower girl bouquet and 6-boutonnieres.

I went with Ecoflower and loved my flowers, but read the reviews and take them to heart. They take a longggg time, and customer service is lacking. I bought them on a Black Friday BOGO sale which saved me a ton of money. All my girls got to keep them which they loved.

Etsy has a lot of sola wood flower sellers with better reviews so check there.

I got mine from southern blooms co as well. I got everything for a 6 person bridal party for $230. She was excellent to work with and sent me pics before building the bouquets to make sure it would match our colors. All flowers are hand dyed so custom ordering is very easy. Highly recommend them

I've made some bridesmaid bouquets. I'm planning to add real greenery beforehand. The painting process isn't that bad. One tip that I would give is to never buy them full price. They have sales every few weeks and you can set it up to where they text you when they are having sales

Did you color the flowers yourself? I’m trying to find the dark pink/mauve color and can’t get it right. What did you use?
