Sola flowers -process and progress!

I’m experimenting with sola wood flowers for my bouquet. I’ve tried to find dried eucalyptus for the past few weeks and it’s always been out of stock, so I was able to find some fresh silver dollar eucalyptus and play around a bit today! I’m planning on replacing the fake greenery with real dried regular eucalyptus, will order dried white filler flowers of some sort, and thistles (because I love thistles). What do you ladies think so far?

i was also wondering whether anyone has used dried flowers, and whether I should be concerned about them deteriorating before the wedding? Our date is sept 15 so I don’t want to do it too early, but also don’t want to be rushed! I’m aware the dried eucalyptus may hang different too, but I do want to try for that cascading effect once I have everything!
