I recently got an invite for a friend's wedding shortly after ours and she put on there "Please no children, this is an adult only event". She has 3 kids of her own so I'm curious to see if she's excluding them too so it's the adult only event she's hoping for... Thankfully no other faux pas apparent as of yet.

If you want a cash bar just do a vegas wedding . You'll save more money. But aside from that , I'd definitely decline that RSVP for multiple reasonsn

The Facebook groups are always a bit more accepting/lenient with etiquette than the die hards here on wedding wire who lose their shit over honeyfunds, cash bars, etc. Just so you know

In regards to the song request, I had it on mine and not only was it super successful, but my guests are still raving about it (and left notes on the RSVP about it). I don't see anything wrong with it.

Just fyi I have no problem with the song requests at all! If I was having a dj j definitely would have done it. My problems are the no kids and oh hey by the way cash bar

Cash bar?!! Decline. The kid thing is cute but if you have ppl with kids they might have to bring them or Decline.I like the song requests, might have to put that on mines. But at my wedding I don't mind kids because mines are gonna be there. But this rsvp calls for a "Declines with regret" Sorry

Sorry- but it's really rude to attack someone because you don't agree with how they're doing it. It's not your wedding- so why do you care? One- adults only is fine. Some people don't get the hint. Cash bar-well, it may be rude but at least they're letting you know to be prepared.

A friends cousin had a dry wedding and didn't warn the large family of drinkers. Someone took orders for a liquor store run.

At least she warned about the bar. Hope she's not upset with the amount of declines or no gifts since people are paying for booze. I wouldn't put the kids part in either.
