Last week, I got so much done!
- Ordered gifts for both mine and his parents.
- Ordered guest “book” alternative.
- Ordered Unity symbol sculpture.
- FH and I finally decided on a honeymoon that we both like.
- Hired an Officiant (at long last!)
- Found our ceremony processional/recessional music.
- Completed day of timeline and ceremony outline.
- And I also got the contract finalized with my hair stylist.
Along with other stuff I’m forgetting right now. But, a week from today, I’ll be flying to Scotland for two weeks. When I come back, I’ll basically have two weeks to make sure everything is ready to go before the wedding. Part of that list includes:
- Arranging the bouquets.
- Finalizing details with boutonnières and corsages.
- Finish designing my programs and print them.
- Write vows
- Possibly write the ceremony script as well.
- Make sure my ring fits properly (because it’ll come in while I’m in Scotland)
Not to mention, I still have to purchase all the desserts and beverages, and make sure I have enough fake ivy vines for my decorations.
At this point, I just feel like there’s too much on my plate and not enough time to do everything. Oh well, that’s what I get for thinking I could finish my last class of college while planning my wedding and then taking a trip out of country
