So I purchased the ring from Kay jewelry and I think I got the wrong size . Is it okay if I give it to her and it the wrong size or should I wait to get it resized? So i purchased the ring but i fear it may be the wrong size 1

Give it to her!!! Even if it’s the wrong size, she will be thrilled to finally be engaged! You got this!

Beautiful ring! I wouldn’t stress it! As a bride who gave my fiancé what I thought was the right ring size, my ring still ended up being too small I assume because he got a double band ring. I forced it on haha and wore it until I was done showing it off then got it resized. If you want to propose now I’d say go for it since it’s 50/50 chance it’ll fit. I have a friend who resized herS 3 times !She kept going back and forth with how she wanted it to fit

Of course! I still have to figure out fiancés ring size and depending on the style who knows if it’ll fit anyway lol but there’s no guarantee for perfect until the ring is on her finger and she wears it for at least a couple days! For example, when I resized mine I still needed help finding the right size. Our fingers swell throughout the day so it’s important for her to wear it for a couple days to see what’s comfortable given natural finger swelling. Most women I’ve encountered resize their rings at least once! And even resize with years passing too in case they lose or gain weight! Congratulations!

I had to get mine re-sized twice! It didn't bother me at all. I was just so happy to get engaged.

Beautiful ring! How would you know if it’s the wrong size if you don’t give it to her?

I would give to her and have it resized after. I thought I knew my size but was smaller than I thought and had to have it resized anyway. Once they get her size it’ll only take a week to fix it.

It’s beautiful; don’t worry so much about the size. Once she receives it she can go get it resized. It’s quite normal. Good luck and congratulations!

When my fiancé proposed, the ring was way too small, couldn’t get it past the middle of my finger. We just took it to Kay the next day, it took about 5 days for them to resize and now it’s perfect!! It was hard to not have it for those 5 days but it’s been over a year now and I’m so glad it fits perfectly, didn’t matter to me that it wasn’t perfect at the proposal!

It looks like the ring had a diamond band, which is harder to resize if it goes all the way around. I would still propose to her, but make sure you do it within the return/exchange window in case that ring isn't able to be resized and you need to exchange it for the correct size. Also go on a warm day (and make sure she doesn't hold a cols beverage right before) because our fingers shrink when it's cold and you'll end up with a ring that's too small. Congrats on your upcoming engagement!

I'll go through my plans on proposing. My fiancé had the wrong size as well but he had the warranty on it so I can bring it to get resized and cleaned for the rest of my life. It's the thought not the knowing. Your heart is in the right place and thats the overall joy I ut of it not the fact you didn't know her ring size. Best of luck!!!
