So i made our vow books...

Malayia, on December 19, 2017 at 7:22 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 1 35
After looking online (mostly Etsy) I couldn’t find any day-of vow books that were worth the price. We did find a velvet keepsake book though that we both absolutely love and are going to order afterward that will have our hand-calligraphered vows. So I decided I’d DIY them...they cost me $6 for materials: 2 sheets of cardstock, 4 sheets of clear vellum (only used 2), ribbon of our choice and some printer paper inside to write them on. I think they turned out pretty cute. I also put our wedding date on the back.

So i made our vow books... 1

They look awesome!!! I am having a hard time finding ones that justify the price. FH is going to try to DIY ours too, but just in case I ordered cheap ones from Oriental Trading Company.

Those are so cute! I have been in the same predicament I keep looking to buy some but none seem worth the money. I never thought about making them myself! Thanks for the inspo!

I thought of making my own vow booklets, but I'm not great at crafts, so I bought vow booklets that have our names on the covers from etsy, for $14-way cheaper than BHLDNs. Yours are very cute!

I’m typically not a crafty person either so I figured if they didn’t turn out they way I wanted then oh well since it only cost me $6. Definitely try, it can’t hurt!

Love them! If you don't mind me asking, what font did you use for the "his vows" and "her vows". I thought it was hand-lettered at first! (I'm a part of too many crafty and "what font is this" type FB groups, but I love finding fonts that look hand-lettered.)
