So i hate bustles....

Honestly you could probably one point bustle the whole thing and have it look ok and relatively flat.. I totally get the whole not loving bustles thing. I’m also not a huge fan, but my one point Bustle actually looks oK IMO.

I've definitely seen dresses like that - as long as you like the look, I think it'd be fine. One thing to consider is that you'd be exposing the more delicate lace layer to the ground more, so you'd want to be more conscious about it when taking pictures, during the ceremony, etc.

Have you thought about a French/Under Bustle? My dress is a similar silhouette as yours and a bustling it under rather than over the skirt was a much better look for me. It lets you keep the long train for the ceremony without sacrificing the sleekness of the dress during the reception when you bustle it up.

Have you had your seamstress pin it up into the several types of bustles so you can see before making a decision?

Good! I felt the same, hated bustles. But when she pinned it up, I didn't think it was as bad so I just went with a normal bustle!

Waiting on our pro pics, this was a sneak peek and sort of shows the bustle.

I hate bustles too, so I’m planning on doing a wrist strap. Your train looks pretty light, so you could look into doing something like that.
