So confused

Michelle, on January 29, 2020 at 4:56 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 13
Just to clarify: I'm new to this whole thing so if ask any dumb questions, feel free to tell me.

Ok so, I found the perfect dress on here but I want to chang it a little bit. For one, I would to get it now (even though the ceremony is a ways a way) but I cant find a price nor a store close to me to do anything. Secondly, I cant seem to find someone to alter it the way I want. Can anybody please help. I'm so lost lol. So confused 1

Do though know the designer? That wouldbe the best way to see where it's sold.

It's a dress by Martina Liana. But when I went to the designers site it didn't show me anything and I couldn't find a store with their store finder thing.

Some stores may not carry it. Can you order online?

Is your wedding really in 2023? I would highly discourage you from purchasing a dress three years in advance. Styles change, your taste can change, and your body can change.

Lol no it's not really in 2023. At least I hope not. I've been asking my fiance for suggestions about when but he doesn't know. It was just a date to put in. Lol

The dress is beautiful but I would not get it until you solidify your date. When you book vendors, buy the dress etc they all need to know your date.

I'm assuming that if you cant find anyone that would alter it the way you want then it may not be possible to do. I agree with the ladies here tho, I would wait til you find the venue and date! I say that because my dress idea totally changed once we picked a theme, venue, and date. I wanted traditional pure white, strapless, with all over lace. We are doing a winter wedding at a winery so I went with a champagne dress with ivory lace to stand out in the snow (hopefully we have some Smiley tongue ), sleeveless with an open back. All of that stuff can really make a difference in the dress!!

I have a venue picked out in the redwood forest of california where my fiance is from and it fits our theme and everything. I was just trying to see if it was possible to alter the dress the way I want but I'm not sure who to ask lol
