Girls, I need to vent and don't have anyone else to talk to and am so unbelievably stressed I feel like I'm going to explode.
#1 I had a really difficult time finding shoes (cowboy boots) to wear for the wedding day, and finally found a pair online I liked. Soon as I found them I was realizing many places were sold out or didn't have my size. I find a reputable store that had my size, go to check out the return policy for the store, click back to the page to order and they're out of stock. They were literally disappearing before my eyes from multiple stores. Magically find them available on Amazon in my size, order them, and have been awaiting their arrival. Come to find out they didn't have them in stock and a week after I ordered them, they canceled the order. So now I can't find shoes for my wedding day that I even like, medically I have to have the support provided by a boot as I shattered my foot a few years ago and can't wear many types of shoes anymore.
#2 We took awhile to figure out what we wanted to do for our centerpieces. Soon as we figured it out, I can't imagine anything different. Unfortunately what we chose; Lunaria (Silver Dollar Plant), we didn't realize was so hard to get. All wholesalers are out, no local floral shop I've tried can get them in. Etsy only has a handful in stock from multiple sellers and what is available isn't enough and with shipping costs would triple the cost of an already expensive product. We were also again seeing them disappear before our eyes as they were selling out. I won't use fake Lunaria because the color I'm wanting isn't a match with the pure white of the fake stuff. So now we have to start over from scratch on something we already agonized over for months prior trying to find something that would work.
#3 Invitations. Apparently are tough for us to pick. After both FH and I wanted to throw the laptop across the room multiple times even after stress breaks, trying to pick and customize templates online. We decided to hire a paper person. When communicating with her she replied within 30 min prior to her sales speech meeting. After the meeting we picked what we wanted quotes on and she gave a turn around of 2 days for the quotes. 1 week later we still had not received them so I contacted her and she sent it 10 hrs later apologizing. I emailed her back saying we wanted to move forward and haven't heard anything from her since. So now I feel like we need to start this vendor process again.
This isn't even everything, and I know in the overall scheme of things it's not that important, but it feels like it is and I'm just so over all of it and want to give up.
