Snowy bridal

Anyone know anything about Snowy Bridal website ? My mom keeps sending pics of dresses from on there which are within my budget but I'm still kinda hesitant to order a dress online

I did a quick google search and it says they have been reported to selling knock-off or counterfeit dreses

It is another overseas counterfeit website that steals designs. What is your dress budget? I would look into resale sites, David’s Bridal sales, or BHLDN.

What is BHLDN ? I'm trying to get plans together to go to David's bridal closest one is almost an hour away. My budget for a dress is 100-200 or not much over 200. I don't care if it's a knock off dress as long as it's pretty and I feel good in it. It doesn't have to be authentic. I'm wearing it for only a few hours anyway

Have you thought about looking for a white dress this isn’t labeled as a wedding dress? A bridesmaid or prom dress that is white would be more doable for that budget than a wedding dress. You just never know what you’re going to get with a counterfeit dress. It could be great or it could be awful and you will be out that money. There is no guarantee or quality control or refunds so it comes down to whether you have the extra money to risk it.

BHLDN is part of the store Anthropology. They have storefronts in major cities, but also have their online store. Their dresses are Hugh quality and range in prices from a few hundred to a few thousand. Their turn around time is about 7 business days and they have a great return policy. I went to one of their NYC stores because at first we were trying to do a 6 month engagement and I needed to know there were dresses I would love and have in the time table. I ended up not going with them, but got my niece her flower girl dress on sale from them.

Look at David’s Bridal or sample sales. You could waste your money with a knock-off. Or try ModCloth or Macy’s for white dresses.

You may not have a problem with it, but the designers whose work you're stealing absolutely do.

Like someone else said, look at white dresses, not wedding dresses. Department stores, Lulu's, bridesmaid dresses. Wait for David's Bridal's $99 sale. Azazie has a large selection of bridesmaid dresses in white, ivory, and frost for under $150.

What she means is that a lot of knock off sites show one picture on the website and then send you a completely different looking dress that’s possibly too big/too small and those sites don’t allow for returns so you’d just be out the money with a dress that looks nothing like how you pictured.

The point is the quality of what comes from the knock off sites is EXTREMELY hit or miss, and most don’t have the customer service that will ever give you your money back if you end up with a disaster. So there is a chance you could get an unwearable dress, be out the money, and have to buy a whole new dress. That’s why you would be “wasting” money

Im not sure price points, but a lot of people on here have had luck at Cocomelody.
TJMaxx even has a bridal website, I can’t speak to the quality but there were some nice looking dresses on the site when I browsed it. And they’re certainly reputable— when buying online, customer service is extremely important to look into and consider. A place like TJMaxx will accept returns. Sketchy knock off sites won’t, reliably.

It is a waste of money when you buy a knockoff dress online and what you receive is a hot mess that you can't wear. Then you have to buy another dress.

Look at white dresses, prom dresses, check consignment and thrift shops, Poshmark, Tradesy, Preownedweddingdresses.com

Is there any particular style you would prefer, if people want to help in your search?

I have heard good things about cocomelody and Azzazie.

Here are the cocomelody dresses from low to high: https://www.cocomelody.com/wedding-dresses/sort-by/price/sort-direction/asc

    Hope this helps!
