May 2020 Bride here that decided to postpone our wedding til next year. It does suck, but we didn't want to wait to see what April was like since the longer we wait, the less likely the venue would have Saturday available. My original ceremony site is already booked next May too so we had to make changes to that.
But in spite of all that gloom, we just got some of our snow engagement shoot photos in and I'm soooo happy with the way they turned out. I had gold heels planned for the shoot too, but one of the photographers talked me out of it (lol). It was lightly snowing when we first got there then it had a downpour. My hair was dripping wet when we finished, but totally worth it! Temp was about 32-36F. I styled the shoot myself and got a few local vendors to help with the cupcakes, flowers, MUAH, and photography.
On the way back down, my MUAH (who just moved from Vegas - and her first time seeing snow) asked SO if he liked doing the photoshoots (we did a beach one last October) and his response was "Sandy likes them." Hahahahahah - blessed to have someone who's willing to deal with all my crazy artsy ideas. And since the wedding is not til next, I get to complete my 4 seasons of engagement shoots project. Enjoy!
