Snacks and the reception

I am not sure why, but I woke up this morning in a panic about my dinner at the reception. Must have had a dream about it I don't remember. Yes, I am serving my guests a REAL dinner, but it'll be around 6pm, and the reception goes until midnight... I am worried that with all the alcohol and time...

Any suggestion on what to have, or has anyone had snacks as well? Is this something I even need to worry about?

For a wedding with a great cocktail hour, a full dinner, and ends at midnight, I don't think you need a third round of food. Every well hosted wedding I've been to has never had me looking for more food at 11:00 PM (but then again, I'm not a big eater).

Passing out cheesesteaks as people leave, figure that when theyre visiting philadelphia they will be wanting to get one after anyway!

We are going to do a super nacho bar. Chips, nacho cheese, taco meat and all the toppings. Not the healthiest but seems like a good idea if alcohol is involved lol

    Definitely ask your venue!

We offer gourmet grilled cheeses, artisan pizzas, and sometimes couples pay for a Ben and Jerry's cart with three different flavors. We offer other things, too, but those three are very frequent in the ballroom!

I love the idea of pizza, a food truck, nachos, or grilled cheese! Not a necessity, but if you have room in the budget go for it

This was not in our budget, so if we have any wiggle room, we will get a taco guy. It's a very LA thing to do after leaving the club/bar, so we're hoping to give our guests tacos after drinking n dancing.
