S'mores and Cookies

I plan to have a s'mores bar at my wedding, but will also have cookies for those who don't want the hassle of making s'mores. There will be NO cake. My husband and I will be making s'mores for pictures instead of cutting cake. Looking at past questions, it seems like most people were doing 2-3 cookies per guest. Being that we are having another dessert as well, would 1 cookie per guest be enough?

    I would still do at least 2 pre guest being there’s no cake.

    I would definitely still offer 2-3 cookies per person, but the s'mores bar might not be a good idea right now due to the pandemic. In fact, the CDC recommends not having bars, buffets or stations in order to avoid guests possibly spreading the virus. A lot of venues aren't allowing them.

    I think you should still go with 2-3 cookies per guest. Leftovers can be easily given away and/or frozen for later.

    I have been to a wedding with make your own s'mores and most people avoided them because it was a hassle and messy. Cookies are much easier to grab and eat.

    I definitely think you should plan on multiple cookies per guest. At the last wedding I went to with a smores bar (although this smores bar was a late night snack, not in lieu of the wedding cake) the smores bar was a bit messy and not all guests wanted to participate due to the long line. It was lots of fun, but the line got long really quickly and it would have been more convenient to just grab a few cookies

    I would do at least two. All of our guests grabbed 3-4 mini desserts (we had cookies in addition to other options).

    Prepare for 3-4 desserts per person. Unless the cookies are big saucer sized, plan on more than that. They don't cost that much extra to make more.
