I have a concern. About four of my wedding party smoke. I do not want them smelling of smoke coming down the aisle. Once they are dressed I would prefer them not to smoke. Maybe speak to some quests? this is a really real question in some states. MA is super strict on smoking and my venue is smoke free, thank God!

Smokers always smell like smoke anyway. It will be in their hair, so even if the dress is odor free it won't be perfect.

I'm in theatre, and many theatre people are "smokers"-- the problem comes smoking in costume.
Depending on the company, sometimes they can smoke with a robe over their costume, other times they have to change completely.
It's your wedding, you do you.

Totally your call! I personally wouldn't want smoking at my wedding, but if someone wants to absent their self and go outside, I see no issue with that. I think it's pretty standard at most weddings to request that people smoke outside only. It's obviously your choice, that's just my two cents.
