Smoking section for outside wedding

My wedding will be entirely outside and the venue doesn't have any designated smoking section. It's a smallish wedding (50 ppl) and about 15 smoke. I personally can't stand cigarette smoke but I know if I try to make it a smoke free wedding most of those people won't come or will leave right away....

I personally can't stand cigarette smoke but I know if I try to make it a smoke free wedding most of those people won't come or will leave right away. Especially since it's an house away.

Does anyone have advice on setting up a smoking section? Especially so that butts aren't left laying around. There is an area on the other side of the building I can send them to but I have a feeling I'll never see those guests again.

My daughter's college campus is smoke free and this is exactly what I do. Walk to the street and smoke there.

Lol I can just imagine handing out Nicorette and patches at the door!

I would never ask anyone to quit smoking for my wedding. Well... Except for my mom. I've been asking her to quit since I was 5. I use everything as a reason why she should quit smoking!

To the best of my knowledge we only have three smokers out of our list of 150. I'm glad you brought this up because this is something I had not even considered needing to accommodate so this is something I need to check on! Thanks OP.

I would never tell anyone to quit for my wedding, but all three of the people that do smoke are family and I would be thrilled if they quit.
