Small wedding

We have about 180 on our guest list, however I have this huge fear that hardly anyone will show up (I’m not exactly sure why I have that fear, free food and drinks usually=people) I’m constantly reminded by my husband that those that are and have been in our corner will come and those are the ones we’re meant to experience this exciting time with.

Originally we were only inviting 10 people. We are up to 34 now. I don’t think everyone will come because it is on a Wednesday and some guests are from out of town. We only want people there that we know love and support us. We didn’t want a big show . Do whatever is comfortable for you . Plus we are able to spread our budget out more this way.

I always thought I wanted a small wedding aha but somehow mine ballooned but I agree small weddings are so intimate

I have a reception with 90 guests and no ceremony. We're getting married by court the day before on a Friday and celebrating on Saturday with our close friends and family. Makes it feel stress free.

We are having about 58. Everyone is interested in ours. Gives us a chance to actually talk to everyone and mingle without someone feeling left out.

I believe ours is on 58 lol the only reason it's that number is my FHs family is huge lol

My mom has 6 other siblings and each aunt/uncle has at least 4-6 kids and my dad has 4 other siblings and each sibling had 2-4 kids so that makes for a lot of people to feed some of my friends and cousins have already have a family and started to have kids which adds more we originally wanted around 70-80 people MAX and invited 100 thinking 15-30% would decline since it’s a destination wedding but only 10 people couldn’t make it so now we have 90 people!
