Small wedding, meetup after

My fiancé and I are planning a small, budget-friendly wedding (under 50 people.. 20 main family, 10 friends/other each), with an outdoor ceremony followed by a sit-down dinner.

It’s about an hour away and we dont plan on having a DJ or anything, the "event" basically ends after dinner. This gives elderly and out of town parents to make their way home. After all, we ourselves are in our late 30s and have been together for 15 years already. However. We’re thinking of continuing the celebration back in our hometown at a local bar/restaurant with a big bar area. We’d invite the larger group we couldn’t include earlier—no pressure with time off, clothes or gifts, just a casual chance to celebrate with us.

It’s also on a Thursday (May 4th—Star Wars man, my choice!) so this feels like an easier, more flexible option for everyone.

Would love any input or advice!
