Small sized, low budget wedding

Hello all. My fiancé and I are 60ish and looking for tips on how to go about planning an intimate (probably less than 20 person), second wedding. We really don't want to spend a lot as we are starting our lives over. And prefer to not do so, in debt.

Thanks Jessica. We really want to avoid a five figure wedding at this point on our lives. Starting over near 60 😬👰🏼‍♀️🤵🏽‍♂️ The insight on some things costing the same, large or small was good 👍🏼

You're welcome. I've seen a lot of creative microwedding package offerings since COVID. This may be an option if you don't want to go to park or courthouse route. Good luck!

Some amazing venues offer great deals on weekday micro-weddings. If there’s a resort, winery, small historic museum or other romantic venue near you call and about about weekday costs for a “private wedding.” Usually an officiant, photographer and one-hour photo shoot after the ceremony are included. Then treat your guests to lunch or dinner at a nearby restaurant (private room would be great).

If you guys have a home with a yard or someone who will allow you to use theirs,it can always be done there and cuts down cost a lot. I’m currently planning my wedding but also helping my friend who is doing a backyard wedding for maybe 10-20 people if that. If you are somewhat crafty a lot of diy can be done. I did a mock setup of their colors and literally almost everything here is from dollar tree with the exception of my curtains and the columns ( hobby lobby $13 each)...I am a frugal person myself and trying to find ways to cut costs is always a plus for me.Small sized, low budget wedding 1
