Small chested ladies!

weddingdiva2016, on March 29, 2016 at 12:11 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 16

Hello ladies!! I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my dress and in the mean time I'm thinking about everything that could possibly go wrong. My current issue is that I am not very busty (32a or 32b depending on the store) and I chose a strapless dress! I've never had much of an issue with this before ( my prom dresses were all strapless) but those dresses also had quite a bit of boning in them and I can't remember if my wedding dress does or not! Any tips on what I can do to make myself look curvier on top while also holding the dress up? The dress store talked about sewing in cups but I'm wondering if I'll need something else too, like a stick on bra or something. I've also attached a picture of the dress. It's called legend by Luna novias Smiley smile

Sounds crazy but Walmart has cups that stick on and they are padded, just a bit. I wore them with a dress that had boning for my shower

So I'm literally like a AA (no lie) and I have a sticky bra that you literally pump up. Sounds Sooo crazy, I know. But I got it off amazon for a Mardi Gras ball one year and never looked back! Haha I can't post the link cause I'm on mobile but it's literally called a backless push up bra with inflatable cups. Worth a shot! It's what I intend to wear with mine!

I'm a 32A as well, and I'm having double stuffed cups sewn into my dress. Then I won't have to wear a bra (wouldn't really help anyway!)

A corset bra works good, but do some research on how to wear it properly. I didn't know how to until I went to my dress fitting. To wear it properly you need a friends help there is no way to do it yourself. Here is a picture of the corset done the right way in the back. You still have to know how to smooth thinks out.

This happened to my sister. They put a built in bra into the dress and added cups. It didn't look fake and stayed up all day so she wasn't tugging on it. You should be fine if they do it right!

When I got my dress, they recommended getting cups sewn in. I have one of those sticky bras and it really gives me great cleavage. I'm not sure if I'll need them if I do end up getting cups sewn in, but those are an option as well.

I'm a 34B. My seamstress sewed in a set of cups to the dress -- she said for really flat-chested ladies, she often sews in two: one in a C-cup to add shape to the bust, then one in an A-cup to add extra oomph. She just did the C-cup for me and then I added a sticky bra to fill it out. Despite having H peel off my boobs at the end of the night, it worked out well!

I'm a solid 36 A and my seamstress sewed in B cups. It kept my dress up while giving me the extra oomph I needed.

When you said, "I've never had an issue with this before," I thought it said, "I've never had an issue with tits before. " hahaha

I'm an A as well and am just having cups sewn in. Smiley smile

Your dress is beautiful! My dress has a built in bra, plus they sewed in cups. I still don't have much so I may wear sticky cups too.

Thanks everyone! I'm gonna try one of those sticky silicon backless bras and see how that feels/looks. I think what really concerns me is that my normal pant size is a 00/0 and they had to order me a size 4!

They could have done the size 2 but my waist was literally a half an inch too big! Other than that the proportions of my body were absolutely fine but I didn't want to chance it. So now I'm just concerned that ordering a whole size larger, the cups just won't fit correctly :/

    I believe my measurements were 31.5, 23 34 and their measurements for the 4 were 33.5 24.5 36... So that's a whole 2 inches bigger on top!

The tailor can add in boobs for you (mine did) and they can add boning if your dress doesn't have it.
