Hello!
My fiancé and I just got engaged last weekend and we set a tentative date of September 2018.
We have always agreed that we'd prefer a very small wedding with just those we consider our close family, which comes to a list of around 35 total. I'm on the hunt for venues that do not require a minimum guest count higher than that, or are smaller/have a smaller capacity anyway, or have a space within them that would be suitable for a small wedding. Restauraunts would probably be great for us, and we'd be fine with nontraditional, but we would really prefer to have the ceremony and reception at the same place if at all possible.
We are in coastal NJ about 2 hours south of NYC and probably willing to travel anywhere within the state for the right venue and setting. We like nature and the beach, but don't want a 100% outdoor space. Great food is a priority.
Has anyone here planned such a tiny wedding in NJ? If so, ideas and suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!
