Slow song or fast song ? for the first dance

So me and my fiancé have decided we want to do something completely different from what other people do and have a fast song to dance to ( like uptown funk not saying that's the song ) as our first dance to get people hyped about the wedding, but at the same time we want a simple slow song ( like perfect -ED Sheerean ) . So my idea was to do the slow song first and then half way through the song it changes to the fast song. What do y'all think ?

I've seen many of weddings done like that on youtube! If your dj can make it happen, I say go for it!

As long as you have a good DJ go for it! We went with a non traditional song. We did Kiss Me by Sixpence None the Richer

I mean....one of my favorite first dances was a bride on here and her FH dressed up in Trex costumes and just went nuts to Monster Mash.
You dont have to stick to slow dances!

We want to do the same thing for our first dance....starts slow then changes to fast....where we ask.our guests to join. We are doing our own playlist and I'm having a hard time finding a song like that to download. Any ideas?
