Slip or petticoat?

SraDeCarrillo, on June 5, 2019 at 1:03 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 9
I ordered my dress online from Kiyonna and I like it but, I feel like it falls flat on me. The dress looks fuller in the pictures of their models. Am I supposed to be wearing something under the dress to make it look fuller? If so, what?

Keep in mind that it is online so the photos are staged to look as best as they can be.
Some women opt to add slips and additional skirts underneath to add volume

Yeah. I noticed pictures of models in the dress that were taken by some 3rd part retailers looked less full at the bottom but I want to know what I need to add to achieve more of that kind of look to the dress.

Maybe a very thin petty coat or something?? I just dont know how the they would look under the material of your dress. But I found some for like 12 bucks on Amazon, maybe worth a shot??

I think a petticoat would make your dress look great! My dress is a mermaid style and has a ton of ruffles on the skirt so it's already pretty full, but I'm wearing a mermaid petticoat underneath to make it even more full. My dress didn't come from David's Bridal, but I got my petticoat from there because they're made well and were easy to try on. Note that you may need to size down in a petticoat so I think it's best to try them on in person. I can wear a small or medium in clothes but had to get a small for my petticoat.

Thank you. I’m not sure which silhouette my dress is so I’m not sure which petticoat I need.

If you show your picture to a bridal consultant they can suggest one for you! David's Bridal didn't seem offended that I didn't get my dress from them when they asked to see my dress to recommend a petticoat.

Such a great idea! I didn’t think to look there because my dress isn’t from there. Thanks so much for the suggestion.

Looks like the model's legs are just popped out to make the dress flare more.
