Slip or hoop? What do i wear under this?

Slip or hoop? What do i wear under this? 1
What do I wear under this dress? Technically it’s a ball gown as the very bottom picture from the website shows but I don’t really want it to be that poofy/full. So I don’t think I want a hoop skirt. Could I just wear a ballgown style slip and get a bit more fullness so that the skirt might lay better? Also I don’t want it going between my legs when I walk. It has a lot of tulle so it looks wrinkled right now. Do I steam it to take care of the wrinkles? And will it wrinkle back up when I’m wearing it? I don’t know that this is the dress yet and it needs to be taken up in the straps but it’s a maybe. Slip or hoop? What do i wear under this? 2

I have no idea on advice. I'd say talk to someone who does alterations.
I just want to say that dress is gorgeous and I think it will look so much better not being so cupcake like.

Maybe you can get something like this to shape the bottom but not make it poofy.

There are several style slips you can get.

    The picture below is A-line.

This picture below is trumpet style.

I also like the not as poofy ball gown look.

These 2 slips are actually ball gown. First one is regular ball gown.

Second one is extreme, which you said you didn't want, but just as a comparison to the above.

You can get an a-line hoop if you don’t want the full ballgown look but don’t want tulle getting in your way.
This one is pretty cheap and has good reviews.

Whatever you choose, I’d order it from Amazon. They have an easy return policy.

Hello there, I would just steam it for wrinkles.

I wore an A-line slip under my ball gown - it was much more manageable (and much less "cupcake")

Thanks guys I appreciate the advice!!! I’ll let you know what I decide. I also have two other dresses that I ordered so I’m waiting on them to come in. I might possibly like one better but I will probably ask your opinions. I’ll have someone take some better pictures for me too!
